What You'll Do



Summary/Objective:

Responsible for the full spectrum of analytics, from collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting on HR data, metrics, and statistics to provide business insights using Business Intelligence tools.

  • Create, Update, Schedule and Manage all Business Intelligence Reporting needs for the People Experience Team and business partners;
  • Work with PX functional areas, external business partners, and the overall organization to analyze and identify data needs, gather requirements, create and deliver reports, and provide data in a variety of engaging formats such as dashboards, visualizations, data extracts, API data reports, and system alerts.
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools, assisting in the development and maintenance of standard reports for ongoing internal customer needs.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve technical data-related problems, and partner with the HRIS team to identify and implement solutions
  • Support data quality, completeness, and integrity to ensure reporting accuracy by implementing data governance best practices
  • Develop queries to extract and combine data from a variety of sources, including the HRIS system and supporting modules, as well as data from external sources
  • Communicate reports, metrics and data driven analytics in a user friendly and consumable fashion to provide meaningful data to support business decision making.
  • Provide support for the PX Data Steward in support DCU's Data Governance initiatives, including cataloging reports and metadata, and maintaining the content and data quality across PX's reporting initiatives.
  • Maintain PX Report Library; organize and manage library and associated permissions.
  • Assist with audit and compliance needs of the department.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).




What You'll Need




  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Services, or Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools or SQL Reporting
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization in a complex environment
  • 1-3 years of experience
