Hourly Pay Range:

$46.79 - $72.52 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Clinical Research Scientist Sr
  • Location: Endeavor Health- 1632 W Central Rd. Arlington Heights, IL 60005
  • Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
  • Hours: Flexible

What you will do:

Execute the following as outline per sponsor provided clinical trial protocols:

1. Screening and Eligibility Assessments

  • Perform physical assessments during screening visits to evaluate subject health status.
  • Review subject medical histories, concomitant medications, and baseline findings.
  • Confirm subject eligibility in alignment with protocol inclusion and exclusion criteria.

2. Laboratory and Clinical Result Review

  • Review clinical and laboratory results (e.g., blood work, ECGs) for clinical significance. - sign off on appropriate case report forms as required by sponsor
  • Assess abnormal findings to determine if they impact subject eligibility or study continuation.

3. Eligibility Confirmation

  • If study PI, provide final confirmation of subject eligibility based on cumulative data (clinical assessments, labs, imaging, etc.).
  • Document findings and decisions in source documentation and/or EDC system.

4. Oversight of Investigational Product Administration

  • Provide medical oversight and/or supervision of investigational product (IP) administration, as required per study protocol.

5. Safety Monitoring

  • Evaluate and assess Adverse Events (AEs) and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
  • Determine attribution of AEs/SAEs to investigational product or study procedures.
  • Provide clinical documentation and sign-off on safety assessments as required by the sponsor or CRO on the case report form.

6. Electronic Data Capture (EDC) System

  • Review and respond to data queries related to medical assessments or safety findings.
  • If study PI, enter and/or approve clinical data in EDC systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of source-verified medical data.

7. Regulatory and Documentation Oversight

  • Review and sign regulatory documents (e.g., Form FDA 1572, protocol signature pages, safety reports, CVs, medical licenses).
  • Maintain medical credentials and study-required documentation in accordance with sponsor and institutional guidelines.

What you will need:

  • Education: PhD and/or MD required;
  • Experience: Serving as PI or Sub-I on industry-sponsored or investigator-initiated trials
  • Skills: Training/Experience in industry-sponsored clinical trial
