Our services support Medicaid agencies, health plans, and self-insured employers. As we continue to expand our AI capabilities, we're seeking a motivated entry-level Artificial Intelligence (AI) Developer/Designer to join our growing AI team.
As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Developer/Designer, you will work directly with our AI Architect, help develop, implement, and maintain AI solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and improve service delivery to our healthcare partners. This role uniquely combines business process optimization with AI development, utilizing advanced AI-assisted development tools to accelerate solution delivery.

Essential Functions
  • You will collaborate with AI tools (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to develop and maintain AI agents and solutions.
  • You will analyze business processes and identify opportunities for AI automation.
  • You will design and document AI workflows and integration points.
  • You will support the implementation of AI solutions across different departments.
  • You will help optimize existing AI workflows and systems.
  • You will work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • You will create documentation and test cases using AI-assisted tools.
  • You will monitor AI system performance and help troubleshoot issues.
  • You will participate in AI solution training and deployment activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and technologies
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
  • Basic programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
  • Strong business process analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with process mapping and workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems
  • Basic understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture
  • Familiarity with AWS AI services such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, or Amazon Comprehend
  • Knowledge of AI development platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, Google AI)
  • Understanding of REST APIs and web services
  • Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security
  • Experience with project documentation and technical writing
