Job Overview

The HR Initiatives Manager will be a dedicated resource for the execution of HR projects and process improvements. This role is responsible for collaborating with HR business leaders and key stakeholders to dene scope, objectives, and timeline for assigned HR projects, initiatives and processes. The HR Initiatives Manager facilitates HR projects utilizing project management methodologies and tools to eectively manage projects and improving business processes to support the organization's business initiatives and strategic goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads project planning through collaboration with HR business leaders and key stakeholders, dening scope, objectives, and timelines for assigned projects, and developing project plans and determining resource needs.
  • Manages and facilitates project teams by executing weekly status meetings, managing risks, actions, issues, and decisions, capturing schedule changes, analyzing impact and working across areas to resolve any cross-functional change impacts, and updating and communicating master plan changes
  • Communicates project progress and status to all levels of management
  • Utilizes project management methodologies and tools to eectively manage projects and deliver results
  • Assists HR business leaders in designing and improving business processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Proven working experience as a project manager
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities and projects
  • Ability to lead and inuence without authority
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Oce including MS Project

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with preferred area of concentration in process improvement project management, business administration, human resources or related elds or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience
  • Project Management Professional or Agile certification is preferred

Work Environment

Office environment- 4 days a week in South Park, Charlotte, NC
