Federal Program Manager

Chevo is hiring an experienced Program Manager to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and becoming a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to CIO/IT Strategy Development. This is a hybrid position. Client onsite engagement expectation is one day per week. Client site is located in Ashburn VA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide support for the strategy development, delivery and maintenance of the target state cloud technical and data architecture for solutions around data modernization

* Provide data management support, and project management to the client, including supporting development of a scalable, organization-wide approach to data governance, enterprise content management, and stakeholder engagement.

* Provide support for stakeholder management, biweekly program report briefings, creation of executive briefings, communications, status, and risk and issues tracking related to cloud-specific modernization efforts

* Provide support at executive levels for the overall management and maintenance of the client's cloud migration and implementation schedule.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

* Minimum of 10 years total experience with at least 4 years of high-level project management experience, preferably on technical solution development projects.

* Certification in project management from a recognized credentialing agency (e.g., Project Management Profession (PMP) and/or Program management professional from the Project Management Institute

* Certification in cloud solution architecture from a FEDRAMP accredited cloud service provider,

* Experience effectively communicating with senior levels of a customer organization

* Experience meeting with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items and effectively executing those items in accordance with approved plans.

* Experience managing cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative work environment.

* Experience managing technology requirements and rapid response scenarios.

Desired Qualifications:

* Previous experience supporting a DHS component

SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $150,000
