Job Description

The Analyst is an industry insights category expert dedicated to delighting clients by empowering informed business decisions. As an Analyst you will deliver impactful analysis and insights using NIQ data and tools, aligned with NIQ standards and the Service Model.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage proprietary NIQ tools and metrics to efficiently address clients' business questions and deliver actionable solutions
  • Build a strong understanding of clients' businesses and priorities to generate relevant insights through analysis of retail measurement and other NIQ data sets. Present findings with support from senior team members as needed
  • Address client business questions, asking thoughtful clarifying questions, and recommending the most relevant analyses and metrics to meet their needs
  • Transform complex data into clear, compelling visual stories that drive client understanding and decision-making
  • Ability to prepare (and present- in some cases) simple ad-hoc analysis
  • Lead generation: Continuously build knowledge of NIQ solutions to better serve clients, and collaborate with senior analysts and managers to proactively identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities
  • Proactively communicate roadblocks as they arise to ensure timely resolution
  • Complete Bronze and Silver Certifications
  • Contribute to Thought Leadership Projects
  • Become bilingual in Consumer Panel Services (CPS) and Retail Measurement Services (RMS):
    • Explain CPS/RMS facts and fundamentals to clients accurately and confidently
    • Use Discover to generate and present CPS/RMS Insights
    • Decrypt consumer and shopper KPIs into everyday, customer centric language
Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years of industry experience
  • University graduate in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines
  • Curious person with a passion for uncovering insights and building data-driven stories to answer business questions
  • Analytical thinker with excellent numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and precision in all deliverables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
  • Exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Digitally savvy, comfortable navigating modern tools and platforms
  • Quick learner, adept at grasping new concepts, tools, and analytical techniques
Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $55,500-$63,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
