Job DescriptionThe Project Lead of Accelerated Training will coordinate and implement the activities of cash and grant-based training projects to ensure fulfillment of the project's goals and objectives within a prescribed time frame while consulting with all parties regarding customized and contract-based training offerings. This position will monitor customized/contract-based project training goals, objectives, and timelines, oversee the completion and progress of pertinent activities, and report on the training project status to both internal and external stakeholders as it applies to the project at hand. Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students, and members of the community.

  • Reviews training goals/objectives to determine procedures for accomplishing the training project (may include establishing a timeline, staffing needs, and budget allocation) and then establishes a detailed plan for each phase of the training project to ensure successful project completion.

  • Prepares and submits reports and other required documentation to all stakeholders regarding training project status, ensures that all required documents, files, and forms are submitted to necessary officials on a timely basis, and develops and maintains participant documents for billing and record keeping.

  • Coordinates TSTC resources to provide solutions for the determined training needs of business and industry.

  • Maintains effective communication with external and internal stakeholders that are used to deliver training services.

  • Applies advanced proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools to effectively process, analyze, and present data.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree or some college required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 2 years required project management experience, preferably in the post-secondary realm.

  • 2 years experience with supplemental funding sources (ie. grants, WIOA, etc.)

  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, except in cases where a specific degree is required to meet accreditation standards, licensure requirements, or other legislative or regulatory obligations. This includes, but is not limited to, certain faculty positions and staff roles governed by state or federal educational mandates.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum required degree, preferred qualifications

  • 3 years required project management experience, preferably in the post-secondary realm. 3 years experience with supplemental funding sources (ie. grants, WIOA, etc.

  • PMP-related certification preferred

  • Non-Credit Training: Demonstrated experience in non-credit course/curriculum development with practical involvement in developing and implementing a variety of credit, noncredit and short-term credit programs.

Work Environment & Additional Information
  • This is an on-campus position that requires employees to be physically present at a campus location at least three days per week

  • This role may require occasional travel to different office locations and events

  • Ability to perform essential physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, lifting, or other job-specific movements as needed.

  • This position is full time, requiring a standard 40-hour work week

  • This role is classified as salaried, exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

  • This position is not ORP eligible
