Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintaining and reconciling assigned general ledger accounts.
• Managing various ledgers, journals, registers, and other financial records.
• Preparing account reconciliations, cost reports, billings, bank reconciliations, and other financial reports.
• Preparing federal, state, and regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
• Preparing journal entries and supporting documentation for posting approved financial transactions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Knowledge of computer systems and software used in accounting.
• Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage, organize, prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $61.20 to $68.01 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
