What to Expect

The Senior Manager, Tax Operation role will be responsible for managing and reviewing the Company's income tax provision and annual tax compliance, focusing on state income tax provision and tax return filings. The role will be collaborating with business partners, and reporting to management cash tax and financial statement implications.

The ideal candidate will need to be an innovative driver of tax process and systems enhancements with the technical and leadership capabilities to manage a large portfolio of tax operation projects independently. The ideal candidate will also need to have experience coaching and mentoring high-performing tax operation teams. They will need to be an experienced professional who has deep state tax knowledge, extensive exposure to managing a complex tax compliance initiative, and is skilled in creating and driving system and process enhancements.


What You'll Do
  • Oversea the preparation and detail review of quarterly and annual state tax provision and tax returns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather accounting and tax technical information and monitor tax provision updates related for U.S. and international tax law changes
  • Analyze business operation's tax provision implications and quarterly tax rate movements and articulate with management
  • Enhance automation at quarter close for timely and accurate tax provision computations with substantial volume of data analysis
  • Manage multiple work-streams and collaborate with global tax colleagues, internal business partners, and external advisors
  • Analyzing tax implications of Inflation Reduction Act ("IRA") and other U.S. legislations
  • Work closely with both US and non-US tax colleagues in maintaining deferred tax assets (liabilities) computation on global basis

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of overall tax experience in a complex corporate in-house environment and/or public accounting firm
  • Familiarity of tax issues for a multinational company operating globally
  • Extensive working knowledge of state tax compliance and U.S. GAAP accounting principles
  • Strong U.S. income tax compliance experience, including complex combined and separate filing state tax returns
  • Proficiency in automation tools, Microsoft Excel and Word, and research programs
  • Must be able to identify and implement systems and process improvements

    Expected Compensation
    $68,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
