Overview
The Float Pool Scheduler is responsible for assigning Float Pool/Per Diem Pool nursing staff to the various nursing units within the hospital with clinical assistance from the Nurse Manager and RN House Coordinator. The Float Pool Scheduler is responsible for data entry, staffing/scheduling program, patient electronic medical record and release of deceased. The Float Pool Scheduler is also a Certified Nursing Assistant and will assist on the nursing units as directed by the RN House Coordinator. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE Current CNA certification in state of practice Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Passing the IL Health Care Workers Background Check. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
