Position Summary

Responsible for developing, designing, testing, coding and integrating software products. Work with other engineers to create innovative products while identifying and implementing test applications and services that best prepare the company to meet future business goals. Specific duties include:

  • Install LNW software on new and existing systems based on customer requirements;

  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of Company systems and products;

  • Understand all regulatory requirements governing Company products;

  • Utilize technical knowledge to write and complete software tasks and projects;

  • Research new technologies and incorporate them into new systems and products;

  • Take initiative in leading projects, delegating responsibilities, and collaborating with others;

  • Test, integrate, write, troubleshoot, and debug software applications;

  • Responsible for the architecture and implementation of critical software components and games; uses company standards and apply design principals and patterns to develop robust software;

  • Work closely with other engineers to provide guidance and assistance in the areas of software architecture, coding standards, and system related issues; and

  • Act as team player in a multi-person development team.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

Computer Science Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) or a related field. Two (2) Years experience in the job offered or as a Senior Software Analyst or Lead Analyst or any combination thereof.

Two (2) years' experience (can be gained concurrently with above) must include the following:

  • Design & develop backend services on WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) platform using Microsoft .NET Framework and C#.

  • Developing & optimizing using SQL queries, stored procedures, SQL jobs and index maintenance on Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Analyzing testing and production memory dumps using Windows Debugger.

  • Working with Wireshark to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

  • Developing user interfaces using the Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) library.

  • Developing Reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), including designing report layouts, and writing SQL queries.

  • Developing unit test cases and integration test plans to ensure software quality and reliability.

  • Working with Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ).

  • Implement socket programming for inter-process communication and real-time data exchange.

  • Integrating systems with an embedded board written in the QNX platform

  • Working with Perforce for code version control and code reviews using Swarm Code Review Tool.
