Overview:

ERP Applications Administrator position available in HGA's Minneapolis, MN office

HGA is hiring for an ERP Applications Administrator focusing on managing the Deltek Vantagepoint application system.

Bring your expertise and experience to HGA and contribute to the impactful work led by our Finance team across the firm. You'll play a key role in optimizing our ERP system, enhancing user experience, and driving efficiency in our business processes.



In this role you will:

    manage firmwide resource planning through best practices, user training, and end-user support;
  1. manage new project set-up process within Vantagepoint by validating info from project managers;
  2. partner with Accounting and Technology staff to plan, implement and complete changes to the Deltek Vantagepoint system as needed;
  3. communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel throughout the firm;
  4. design, develop, and implement effective workflows, and role-based dashboards and reports for end users;
  5. develop standards and documents procedures;
  6. set-up and maintain user accounts, roles, and hub field security. Implement hub updates;
  7. research, test and implement Deltek Vantagepoint support packs, patches and version upgrades;
  8. develop Rate Tables used to support PIW and resource planning across offices and departments; and
  9. present to and train HGA staff and end users on the use of the Deltek Vantagepoint system.

Additional knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  1. Knowledge of financial systems experience with emphasis on service organizations and a conceptual understanding of and/or experience with end-user security;
  2. Skilled with project management software and MS Office Suite and end-user hardware and software; and
  3. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues; manage complex projects across multiple user groups; manage multiple details; provide strong interpersonal communication, leadership, organizational, and customer service skills; and work independently in a team.


You will need to have:

  • B.S. degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance or related equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years' experience supporting enterprise resource planning products - Deltek preferred
  • 3 years of experience in a corporate setting performing the below named activities
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • Experience in AEC industry required


Salary Information:

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $78,800 - 100,400
