Leidos is seeking an ambitious and outgoing Residential Contractor Network Lead for our Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. As the Residential Contractor Network Lead, you will work to both manage existing program contractors, recruit new contractors and serve as the internal and external resource for all parties that interact with program contractors. The Residential Contractor Network Lead will provide general program contractor oversight, direction, and follow-up, as well as strategic guidance to program contractors. The Residential Contractor Network Lead will be responsible for overseeing and driving contractor network performance as it relates to training, education, program requirements, retention and industry requirements. The Residential Contractor Network Lead will report directly to the Director, Program Ally Experience and will also collaborate closely with the Ameren Illinois Residential Program Managers and Field Team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead all efforts to manage the Prospective and Participating Program Ally Network of contractors across Ameren IL territory who provide services in a variety of efficiency measures in HVAC, Insulation, Plumbers, Electrical trades within the Residential Efficiency Program in close collaboration withthe Field Energy Specialist team.
  • Direct recruitment and onboarding process of Residential Program Ally network, with an emphasis on recruiting contractors that offer HVAC and/or Building Envelope (Insulation) services.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding process of Residential Program Ally network, with an emphasis on recruiting contractors in targeted areas of the service territory.
  • Assess Residential Program Ally network needs by region, discipline, and program need.
  • Coordinate ally recruitment and management across all program implementers and stakeholders.
  • Is personally engaged with Ally recruitment for high need areas and high-profile Program Ally candidates.
  • Collaborate with marketing resources to develop effective messaging to existing and potential Program Ally candidates.
  • Facilitate discovery of external training options and continuing education for Program Allies and their employees.
  • Serve as the main operational point of contact for Residential Program Ally onboarding, enrollment processing, certification status, and data updates in Amplify-including W-9 and insurance collection, ICC verification, and coordination with Field Energy Specialists for kickoff activities.
  • Respond to ongoing inquiries from Program Allies, provide up-to-date program resources and incentive details, and support contractors with performance data, bonus breakdowns, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate Program Ally records and certification statuses in Amplify, lead annual ICC recertification updates, and generate internal and external reports that support strategic ally planning and recognition efforts (e.g., Program Ally of the Year, active vs. inactive status).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with two plus (2+) years of relevant experience implementing energy efficiency programs. May consider additional relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with contractor service delivery and/or energy efficiency program delivery.
  • Superior communication, collaboration, and task management skills.
  • Strong telephone skills -- getting to the right person and interviewing skill.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and as an individual.
  • Proven ability in process streamlining, content management, and document control.
  • Project or program management experience is desired.
  • Coordination of Program Ally data reporting as requested.
  • The ability and flexibility to adjust to changing schedules driven by operational requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (may include occasional overnight travel).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
