Title: IT/OT Technical Leader Location: Kinston, NC Requirements:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology or Systems, or Computer Science and 5 years of experience in leading the establishment of a Windows Server supported Operational Technology environment for factory operations within the home appliance manufacturing industry.
- Must have experience in:
- Utilizing EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and PROFIBUS protocols to establish connectivity between manufacturing equipment and the company's network infrastructure.Implementing SCADA, PLC, and HMI controls to monitor, measure compliance, and increase the maturity of controls for OT systems.
- Installing and upgrading software and maintain software licenses for factory applications including, DELMIA Apriso, Cognex, Keyence, Autodesk, and Inductive Automation.
- Utilizing SmartView to analyze event logs and perform security risk assessments within OT environments including factory self-assessments.
- Approving and managing access, communication, and connectivity to the Operational Technology (OT) Network and request Firewall configuration changes.
- Managing IT hardware and software vendor and contract relationships.
Job Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware for factory operations.
- Assist in defining the factory Operational Technology (OT) network design according to corporate standards, while also establishing and maintaining an inventory of the OT assets within the factory environment.
- Led the establishment of a Windows Server supported Operational Technology environment for factory operations within the home appliance manufacturing industry.
- Install, configure, and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, and operating systems for factory operations.
- Approve and manage access, communication, and connectivity to the Operational Technology (OT) Network and request Firewall configuration changes.
- Lead the Manufacturing System local support team providing a 24/7 schema support and reaching the SLA metrics for Severity 1 and 2 incidents.
- Utilize EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and PROFIBUS protocols to establish connectivity between manufacturing equipment and the company's network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, monitor, and manage domain resource servers, including, DHCP, file, print, database, and web servers.
- Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses for the factory applications including, DELMIA Apriso, Cognex, Keyence, Autodesk, and Inductive Automation.
- Coordinate, implement and support the information security strategy for the site OT network/environment.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining an inventory of OT assets, including servers, computers, PLCs, Scanners, Printers, Software, and Access Management.
- Lead OT initiatives for acquisition, installation and deployment of new devices or systems required in manufacturing areas.
- Manage IT hardware and software vendor and contract relationships.
- Manage first level of support for resolving incidents with the OT network and Open Platform Communications (OPC) platform in the factory.
- Participate in OT device connectivity "incident management" and triage activities. Utilize SmartView to analyze event logs and perform security risk assessments within OT environments including factory self-assessments.
- Drive/perform periodic OT network access reviews - analyze data from network traffic logs and create action plans to limit risk.
- Utilize SmartView to analyze event logs and perform security risk assessments within OT environments including factory self-assessments.
- Manage and report security compliance scores for management on security status.
- Implement SCADA, PLC, and HMI controls to monitor, measure compliance, and increase the maturity of controls for OT systems.
- Conduct Operational Technology security related training for the Factory personnel.
- Assure the compliance with allcertifications and /or programs required such as: IS0 14001, ISO 9001, C-TPAT, and EMS.
- Lead the Manufacturing System local support team providing a 24/7 schema support and reaching the SLA metrics for Severity 1 and 2 incidents.
