Position Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a strategic role in fostering a compliant, high-performing, and inclusive workplace at RELI. This position serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on employee relations, policy implementation, leave administration, and leadership development. The HRBP partners closely with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Policy Implementation



  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, compliance, and performance management.
  • Ensure consistent and compliant application of HR policies in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Monitor trends and provide proactive insights to mitigate risk and enhance workplace culture.


Leave of Absence (LOA) Administration



  • Administer all leave programs (FMLA, ADA, military, state-specific, and company-sponsored).
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees on leave, ensuring timely communication and seamless transitions.
  • Partner with managers to plan for coverage and reintegration.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate compensation and benefit continuation.


Manager Engagement & Leadership Support



  • Partner and support managers in developing leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Deliver targeted training on performance management, feedback, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
  • Guide managers through performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and career development conversations.


Training & Development



  • Assess organizational training needs and recommend effective learning solutions.
  • Evaluate training outcomes and continuously improve programs based on feedback and performance metrics.


Strategic HR Partnership



  • Provide data-driven HR insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with HCM colleagues on workforce planning, performance management, and talent initiatives.
  • Promote fairness, transparency, and integrity across all HR practices.
  • Stay current on employment laws, HR trends, and best practices.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree and HR certification preferred).
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations and business partnership.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws (FLSA, Title VII, ADA, FMLA) and compliance requirements (EEOC, OFCCP, EEO-1, VETS-100, 5500).
  • Proven experience administering leave programs and advising managers at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity in handling sensitive matters.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paycom or similar preferred).

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $135,000.Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws.
