Job Description

Do you thrive on organization, love solving problems, and want to play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare? We're looking for a Residency Program Coordinator-a detail-oriented, resourceful professional who can juggle calendars, accreditation policies, and people with equal skill. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, but also values being part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.

As the behind-the-scenes powerhouse of our residency and fellowship programs, you'll be the go-to person for residents, faculty, and leadership. From managing day-to-day operations to supporting long-range planning, recruitment, and program compliance, you'll make sure everything runs smoothly so trainees and physicians can focus on what matters most-patient care and education.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the Program Director and leadership team to keep program operations, workflow, and budgets on track.

  • Apply ACGME and hospital policies to ensure compliance (you'll be our in-house policy expert).

  • Support residents and fellows throughout their training, serving as a trusted resource and liaison with hospital administration.

  • Manage resident recruitment, orientation, affiliation agreements, and external rotations.

  • Keep things running smoothly behind the scenes-databases, evaluations, licensing, contracts, credentialing, and exams.

  • Plan and execute major events like orientation, graduation, recruitment season, and faculty meetings.

  • Create program communications-from websites and brochures to event invitations and recruitment materials.

  • Lead the ERAS and NRMP processes during recruitment and Match season.

  • Track and report on trainee and faculty data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Help prepare for ACGME reviews, site visits, and other accreditation milestones.

  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and inclusion in everything you do.

What You Bring (Minimum Requirements)

  • Associate's degree in health sciences, business, public administration, education, or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in a high-level administrative role.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills-you're the type who finds joy in color-coded spreadsheets.

  • Discretion and professionalism with sensitive information.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Confidence in making independent decisions, with the judgment to escalate when needed.
