This is a full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid W-2 contract role located in Charlotte, NC.

The Marketing Manager II will lead the planning and execution of assigned marketing programs while providing cross-portfolio support for additional lines of business. This role blends independent ownership of marketing initiatives with collaborative support for senior managers, offering opportunities to build expertise across a diverse portfolio of products and services. The position is ideal for a marketing professional ready to manage campaigns directly while growing their strategic and cross-functional skills.
Our Ideal Candidate
3+ years of experience developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns
Proven ability to translate business objectives into measurable marketing goals
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Skilled in multi-channel campaign development (digital, print, social, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Comfortable collaborating with product owners, regulatory, communications, legal, and vendor partners
Familiarity with clean energy or renewable energy programs is a plus
Job Description
In this role, you will own the development and execution of marketing plans for assigned programs while also supporting broader initiatives across the portfolio. You'll collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and senior marketing managers to deliver impactful, compliant, and customer-focused campaigns. This includes:
Partnering with product owners to define measurable marketing goals
Planning and executing annual marketing campaigns across multiple channels
Developing creative briefs, coordinating with agencies/vendors, and managing deliverables
Tracking and reporting on key campaign metrics to measure success and optimize performance
Supporting senior marketing managers on portfolio-wide initiatives and cross-business campaigns
Ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and adherence to customer data best practices
Managing budgets to ensure marketing programs are delivered within scope and cost
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field required
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing strategy, campaign execution, or product marketing
Experience in multi-channel campaign development and performance analysis
Project management experience strongly preferred
Background in clean energy, renewable energy, or residential customer programs is a plus

This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence in Charlotte, NC
The pay for this W-2 contract position ranges from [$55.81 - $57.74] per hour
This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked
