Senior Vice President, Client Experience

We Are Seeking:

We're looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Senior Vice President to join our Consumer Practice, working across a portfolio of household Consumer brands. You will spearhead high profile, award-worthy, integrated influencer and earned media campaigns for one of our top consumer clients.

Working in a dynamic agency-client model, you will be the strategic connector that brings integrated activations to market.You will be responsible for managing client and inter-agency relationships, playing a critical role in determining the future and long-term success of not only this business, but also our Consumer Practice. You will be responsible for all aspects of a client relationship and an integrated team and will supervise big pieces of business with multiple work streams and team members.

Responsibilities include recommending programs and activities coordinating with client's goals, effectively delegating projects, offering counsel to team members and allocating agency resources to match client budgets. You will also be a key leader of business development, strategic program planning, analytics, media relations and the development and execution of creative concepts. Ideally, you will have global agency experience, and have executed large scale campaigns.

• Can mobilize and motivate integrated teams while working independently and as part of a team
• Excellent oral and written business communication skills
• Aptitude for financial analysis
• Can complete challenging projects within set parameters
• Exceptional judgment when working with team members, client contacts and vendors
• Commitment and dedication to the agency's success as well as individual career

• Instills confidence with clients and colleagues

The right person for this role has:

• 12+ years of experience in PR inclusive of agency experience working on integrated communications campaigns, specifically earned media and influencer-led assignments
• Deep knowledge of the consumer products space, with experience in - and passion for - personal care, consumer health, beauty and lifestyle brands
• Proven track record of proactively identifying and delivering strategic opportunities that unlock account growth beyond the current or 'expected' remit
• Strong familiarity and expertise related to social, news and influencer channels that can further fuel earned-driven communications
• Exceptional client service track record with ability to counsel and interact effectively with senior management at client organizations
• Experience managing a large CPG account (over $1 million in billings) and the keen organizational skills needed to juggle multiple client needs at once
• Ability to efficiently manage cross-office teams that span multiple cities and countries with integrated account teams preferred
• Ability to be both strategic and hands-on, to flex with clients' needs
• Success leading teams and developing talent
• An entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership qualities, and a collaborative attitude
• A willingness to challenge how things have always been done, in a desire to continuously improve
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient skills in MSOffice (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• BA or BS in Communications or related degree

This is a Hybrid role tied to our New York office.

NYC Salary range: $160,000 - $225,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
