Our 12-week paid internship program offers firsthand experience and meaningful projects that have an impact on our business. Throughout the program, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals receiving mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities that will expose you to various aspects of our industry. Build Connections By: Working alongside our Internal Audit/Tax team that serves our customers, employees, and partners across North America and Canada. Collaborating with other Gordon Food Service interns and employees in the following areas: Communications Finance Accounting Human Resources IT Marketing & Merchandising Supply Chain Communications Build a Career: In the Internal Audit/Tax department by: Working alongside the Tax teams administers, calculates, and remits all income and indirect taxes for the US, Canada, and states, including filing all income and indirect tax returns and related forms, preparing related journal entries and account reconciliations, and resolving issues/answering questions with auditors, external customers, and stakeholders across GFS. Working alongside the Internal Audit teams performing risk mitigation, process improvements, assurance consulting, and internal controls testing for all North American operations within GFS with a focus on operations.
