We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Security Identity Document Graphics Designer to support the design and development of secure identity documents for U.S. federal and state government clients. This role requires deep expertise in secure document design, including the use of specialized graphics software and collaboration with customer stakeholders and manufacturing teams. The designer will also contribute to business development and other customer engagement efforts by producing high-quality graphics for proposals and marketing materials.

As ourSecurity Document Graphics Designer, you'll support HID's successby:
- Designing secure identity documents such as ID cards, driver's licenses, and government credentials.
- Developing and integrating advanced security features using specialized software including JURA and Adobe Illustrator.
- Collaborating with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are production-ready and meet security specifications.
- Innovating new security features and visual elements to enhance document integrity and anti-counterfeiting measures.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 14298, ISO/IEC 7810, and ICAO Doc 9303.
- Creating design-related graphics and visual assets for proposals, presentations, and business development initiatives.
- Translating complex technical and security concepts into clear, compelling visual materials.
- Maintaining awareness of emerging trends in secure document design and production technologies.
- Participating in cross-functional teams support project planning and execution.
- Traveling as needed to support client engagements, design reviews, and production oversight.
YourExperienceand Background include:
- Experience working with government agencies or contractors in a secure design capacity.
- Knowledge of advanced security design techniques such as guilloche patterns, microtext, and digital watermarking.
- Experience with prepress workflows and secure document production.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship (required for Public Trust clearance eligibility).
- Demonstrated experience designing secure identity documents for U.S. federal or state government agencies.
- Proficiency in JURA security graphics software and Adobe Illustrator; experience with other design tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of secure printing technologies and document manufacturing processes.
- Experience developing innovative security features and integrating them into document designs.
- Ability to produce high-quality graphics for proposals and marketing materials.
- Familiarity with international and U.S. standards for secure documents.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
