Position Summary We are seeking a College Faculty Recruiter to join our team and help us to attract and hire talented individuals to teach in our academic institution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the academic landscape, experience in faculty recruitment, and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of technology and experience using talent acquisition systems, including Applicant Tracking, Candidate Relationship Management, social media, and other predictive tools. Working knowledge of employment laws. Ability to recruit by understanding the services provided by Dallas College. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of a highly matrixed organization and work across cross-functional, multi-location teams. Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to appropriately handle highly confidential information. Ability to work under pressure to fill positions. Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy, ability to meet tight deadlines, and superior customer service are critical success factors for this role. Proven ability to work independently on multiple concurrent tasks with limited day-to-day supervision. Demonstrated understanding of how-to source, screen, and recruit in job markets. Demonstrated excellence and passion for candidate experience at each step of the recruiting process. Analytical adeptness with the ability to draw insights from data coupled with a strong business acumen approach to strategies and solutions. Demonstrated ability to establish cooperative working relationships with leaders, staff, internal and external stakeholders while maintaining transparency and accountability. Excellent detail orientation with time-management skills, including the ability to develop a comprehensive recruitment plan and manage numerous tasks and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified faculty members across various departments and disciplines. Collaborate with department chairs and hiring committees to understand their faculty needs and requirements. Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, professional networks, and social media to identify and engage with potential candidates. Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure that they meet the institution's hiring standards and qualifications. Develop and maintain relationships with academic institutions and professional organizations to source and attract talent. Participate in recruitment events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to promote the institution and its faculty opportunities. Responsible for data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System, Candidate Relationship Management, and other systems. Serve as an employer brand champion to effectively build relationships and market employment opportunities within Dallas College. Improve brand attractiveness by having a full understanding of our employer value proposition, business model, and culture. Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Proven recruiting experience or three (3) years in similar role, or an Associate's degree with five (5) years of experience. Knowledge of academic hiring processes, policies, and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with candidates and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Professional HR certification is preferred (e.g., SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP). Experience with Workday preferred. Official transcripts are required. Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred.
