Key Responsibilities:

The Director, SAP - RTR & PTP will be responsible for the following:

  • Architect & lead design, implementation & maintenance of SAP RTR (Record-to-Report (formerly FICO)) & PTP (Procure-to-Pay (formerly Materials Management)) systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements & strategic objectives.
  • Develop & execute SAP RTR & PTP strategies, roadmaps & governance models to drive business process improvements & system optimization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders & cross-functional teams to identify business needs & develop solutions to improve financial reporting, procurement, & payment processes.
  • Oversee configuration, customization & maintenance of SAP RTR& PTP modules, including Finance - General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Account receivable, Fixed assets, Cost Center & Profit Center accounting, CO-PA, Production costing, Material Ledger, Logistics Execution & Materials Management.
  • Develop & manage budgets, resource allocation plans, & project timelines for successful delivery of SAP RTR & PTP projects.
  • Provide leadership, guidance & coaching to SAP RTR & PTP team members, including training & development.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, & partners to implement SAP RTR, PTP & other integrated solutions.
  • Lead design of complex SAP & non-SAP systems, integrating functional & technical requirements to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements & develop solutions to improve financial reporting, procurement & payment processes.
  • Participate in project planning, testing & implementation of SAP RTR & PTP upgrades & enhancements.
  • Collaborate with core business functions, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Supply Chain Management (SCM) & other integration areas to identify cross-functional requirements & deliver integrated solutions.
  • Design & architect SAP Production Costing & Material Ledger processes to optimize production planning, costing &inventory management.
  • Collaborate with Trident stakeholders & external consultants to define & document business processes & scope for the Finance, Controlling & Logistics teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives & industry best practices.
  • Oversee Application Management Services (AMS) teams offshore & onsite, for seamless delivery of run support services.
  • Provide strategic oversight for design, implementation & support of all RTR & PTP areas, collaborating with system integrators for successful delivery.
  • Leverage analytical & technical expertise to design & deliver best-practice SAP solutions that meet business needs.
  • Deliver expert support for key financial processes, including General Ledger (GL), Controlling, Consolidation &Treasury, as well as Electronic Bank Statements (EBS).
  • Provide timely & accurate support for external & internal reporting & analysis requirements, ensuring compliance with corporate deadlines, regulatory requirements & financial reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with Master Data owners to resolve data discrepancies, improve data quality & reassign responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide clear and concise process explanations to end-users & business stakeholders, ensuring understanding & alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide detailed transactional information to internal & external auditors as required, ensuring transparency & compliance with audit regulations.
  • Offer expert guidance on technical feasibility & appropriateness of proposed solutions, evaluating alternative options to ensure the most effective & efficient solution is implemented.
  • Successfully coordinate & lead diverse groups through complex situations, leveraging strong organizational skills to facilitate effective collaboration & achieve shared objectives.
  • Facilitate & manage design workshops, leveraging expertise in multiple areas to drive collaborative problem-solving, innovation & solution design.
  • Domestic/International travel required 25% of the time.
  • Telecommuting permitted 100% from any U.S. location.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Base rate of $220,000 per year

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems or Finance with a technical focus or a related field.

Experience: 5 years of experience in an SAP Finance Analyst/Architect occupation.

Special skills and requirements: Must have experience with the following:

  • 5 years of experience in SAP Finance/RTR and MM (Materials management)/PTP, including SAP FI/CO, MM (Materials management), and other SAP Integration modules;
  • 5 years of implementation experience in SAP solutions;
  • Experience in each of the following:
  • SAP RTR or FI/CO;
  • Procure to Pay or Materials Management (MM); and
  • SAP S/4 HANA integration.
