Worth Academic Advisor 42221BR Bachelor of Professional Studies Position Description Performs academic advising, educational, professional, or other basic academic advising or training at the individual or group level as appropriate. Work is performed under supervision with performance based on individual advising effectiveness and overall program results obtained. Major/Essential Functions Student Advising & Planning: Provide personalized academic advising to adult learners and non-traditional students in the $10K Degree Completion Program. Collaborate with students to create a clear degree plan that incorporates prior learning, transfer credits, and the specific academic offerings within the School of Professional Studies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The attributes required to perform the job that are generally demonstrated through qualifying service, education, or training. Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities, in addition to the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; one year related experience. No Job Type Full Time Pay Basis Hourly Job Family Academic & Student Services Job Sub Family Academic Advising Annualized Pay Range $34,100 - $44,300 - $54,600 Hourly Pay Range $16.39 - $21.30 - $26.25 Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
