As a Public Relations Manager - Community Impact at Allstate, you'll be at the heart of Our Shared Purpose to improve communities. You'll lead communications that support The Allstate Foundation's core programs: empowering youth, disrupting the cycle of relationship abuse and increasing access to thriving wage careers. All while driving Allstate's broader efforts to build trust in communities and inspire volunteerism. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead PR strategy and execution for community impact programs, including The Allstate Foundation's signature initiatives and Allstate's trust-building efforts.
  • Develop and pitch compelling storylines that highlight Allstate's role in empowering youth, ending relationship abuse and expanding career access, while positioning Allstate as a trusted community partner.
  • Drive volunteerism and participation by creating campaigns and media moments that invite the public, employees and partners to join Allstate in improving communities.
  • Manage media relations with top-tier, local, trade and nonprofit-focused outlets; secure earned coverage that demonstrates Allstate's commitment to community impact and trust.
  • Collaborate with agency partners in planning and executing community impact campaigns, activations and events.
  • Monitor trends and issues in corporate social responsibility, nonprofit partnerships and trust in communities to identify proactive storytelling opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
  • Measure and report results to demonstrate impact, inform future strategies and continuously improve PR effectiveness.

What will you bring?

  • 5-8 years of experience in public relations, with a strong background in nonprofit PR, corporate social responsibility communications or cause marketing (agency and/or in-house).
  • Proven ability to build relationships and pitch stories to traditional, digital and nonprofit-sector media.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate program impact and complex social issues into compelling, human-centered narratives.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality work in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Creative, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, with a passion for social impact and purpose-driven work.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools with an experimentation mindset to uncover new storytelling opportunities, streamline workflows and develop innovative approaches to communications.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $120,000- 145,000 / annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
