General Summary of Position
The Team Lead will be responsible for the day to day oversight of the Intake Coordinators for both Maryland and the District of Columbia. He/She will be responsible for ensuring all regulatory timelines are met and appropriate procedures are followed for intake. Collaborates with clinical and non-clinical staff and serves as the initial point of contact for Intake Coordinators to provide leadership and support departmental workflows, processes, procedures, SOPs, operations, productivity standards, and regulatory requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures intake functions are performed according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensures standard operating procedures and policies are accurate and correctly reflect regulatory requirements. Responsible for developing and or maintaining documentation.
  • Collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure inquires are addressed timely and accurately.
  • Assists with development and validation of regulatory reports.
  • Coach, mentor and train direct reports as needed. Develop SMART goals.
  • Monitors productivity and compliance to ensure standards are being met.
  • Maintains working knowledge of Intake process and maintains proficiency in performing those duties.

    Minimum Qualifications
    Education

    • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
    • One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

    Experience

    • 3-4 years of experience in Intake, Appeals, Complaints and Grievances required
    • One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to problem solve and organize
    • Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities
    • Knowledge of all aspects Intake, Appeals, Complaints and Grievances

    This position has a hiring range of $23.19 - $40.61
