Job Description:

As a Security Guard - Media Front Desk in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entry points, responding to inquiries, and supporting the overall security-related operations of the site. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and credentials, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related activities at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor and employee check-ins and check-outs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and/or emergency personnel as required.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
