Account Reconciliation Lead (NA Accounting)

This position is responsible for:



  • The monthly monitoring of the Account Reconciliation program for North America
  • Publishing monthly status executive dashboards
  • Providing support to Account Reconciliation prepares and approvers
  • Lead account reconciliation training programs
  • Monitoring of shared services support personnel over internal control tasks
  • Driving continuous improvement and process redesign initiatives
  • Coordinating SOX compliance, including documentation, process flows and testing as required
  • Completing special projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or relevant
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with internal control framework
  • Strong communication and presentation skills


Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Two years public accounting experience (Big 4 or larger regional accounting firm preferred)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certified or higher
  • CPA designation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
