Job Title: Customer Service Specialist

Location: Richmond, VA 23219

Duration: Approximately 3 to 12 months

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr. On W2 without benefits

Job Description:

  • We are seeking two temporary professionals to support the Contact Center and document processing operations within the Clerk's Office. This role involves providing prompt and courteous assistance to customers, including law firms, service companies, and the general public, primarily via telephone.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound telephone inquiries using a headset professionally and efficiently.
  • Provide accurate information regarding corporations, LLCs, limited liability companies, partnerships, business trusts, and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings.
  • Assist customers in navigating and using the CIS online system.
  • Receive, sort, and log incoming mail and payments.
  • Enter and validate data related to business entities and UCC documents.
  • Prepare documents for scanning and filing.
  • Fulfill customer requests and inquiries with attention to detail and service excellence.


Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.
  • Experience with document processing and accurate data entry into information systems.
  • Knowledge of validation procedures and filing of hard copy documents.
  • Ability to address and resolve inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
