 Position Summary
 PLEASENOTE: This position is for the UNM Gallup Branch, located in Gallup, NM,
 approximately 138 miles west of Albuquerque, NM.
 The University of New Mexico Gallup Branch, AppliedTechnology and Allied Health Sciences Division seeks to hire temporary
 part-time faculty members to teach face-to-face undergraduate-level classes in
 the Fall 2025, Spring and Summer 2026 semesters. Some of these courses include:

 UNM Gallup instructors are responsible for all aspects of any
 class they are teaching including but not limited to meeting with the class
 during assigned times that may include online, evenings and/or weekends,
 content delivery, assignment development, grading assignments, reporting of
 grades, and assessment of student learning as outlined by the department chair.
 
 Positions are contingent upon need each semester
 as determined by student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, and
 demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or
 eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or add
 courses. Candidates who are selected for these positions will report to
 the division chair.
 
 Salary
 $1,135.26 per credit hour.

 Qualifications
 Minimum Qualifications: 
 Current Certifications/Industry-Recognized Credentials in welding-related technologies (i.e., AWS, OSHA, NCCER) from within the last five years.Minimum of two years' work experience in the welding industry, or a closely related field.  Preferred Qualifications: 
 Associate Degree (AAS or AS) in Welding Technology or closely related field or 5 years work experience in the welding industry.Experience developing and delivering instructional materials and information in a classroom setting at either the secondary or post-secondary level.A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
