Performs a wide range of lease management related accounting functions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ASC 842. Completes all aspects of new lease setup, initiates lease payments and provides lease documentation as needed during month-end, budget preparation and external audit. Provides lease guidance to lease contacts to ensure data accuracy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Bachelor of Science in Accounting or FinanceORBachelor of Science in Business Administration or Business Management with a concentration in AccountingorFinance.

1. Develop strong relationship with Department lease contacts to help coordinate and monitor financial controls and accurate data in relation to lease processing according to lease guidelines.

2. Evaluate lease processes to maximize efficiency in the daily accounting operations. Ensure that internal control measures are being followed.

3. Maintain lease software in order to complete and submit accurate financial data during month-end process according to predetermined deadlines. Investigate and communicate variance issues to supervisor/manager of the department.

4. Develop and submit analytical financial data as needed by supervisor or department director/manager.

5. Assist in completing and compiling lease support documentation for budget and external audit purposes.

6. Ensure duties of lease management are completed accurately and timely including lease review, lease entry into lease management software and lease payments

7. Participate in educational opportunities as provided by the hospital to enhance skill related abilities.

8. Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

9. Support performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
