The Role

As Scale continues to grow, our Recruiting team plays a critical role in meeting ambitious hiring goals. We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to partner with our Engineering and AI teams, hiring exceptional Software Engineers, Applied AI Engineers, and Machine Learning Engineers. This is a high-impact role where you'll help shape our hiring strategies, build diverse pipelines, and deliver a world-class candidate experience.

What You'll Do



  • Act as a strategic partner to engineering and AI leaders, developing a deep understanding of their teams, roles, and priorities.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting: from outreach and sourcing through offer negotiation and close.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Use data and metrics to inform decisions, optimize processes, and influence stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with recruiting coordinators and sourcers to ensure a transparent, consistent, and candidate-first interview experience.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices to build diverse, high-performing teams.
  • Educate and guide hiring teams on interview best practices and market insights.
  • Serve as a skilled problem solver, negotiator, and coach throughout the hiring process.


What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth, technical environments.
  • Proven success hiring software, product, and/or AI/ML talent.
  • Strong ability to use data and insights to influence leaders and drive decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information.
  • Skilled in negotiation and market positioning, with up-to-date knowledge of technical talent markets.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills, including Director+ level partnership.


Location

  • This role is based in our San Franciscooffice (3 days per week), with an additional annual remote allowance.

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process, and confirm whether the hired role will be eligible for equity grant. You'll also receive benefits including, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits, a learning and development stipend, and generous PTO. Additionally, this role may be eligible for additional benefits such as a commuter stipend.

$160,000 $195,000 USD
