Analysis of Data and Evidence
Collaborate with the senior team to evaluate the impact of foundation programs using mixed methods-qualitative (case studies, participatory approaches) and quantitative (data analysis, statistics, visualization).
- Work with the program team to ensure proper collection and documentation of indicators and metrics in the grants management system (Salesforce).
- Partner with external evaluators for assessments of RIZE's grants and programs.
- Conduct research and literature reviews, providing updates on evidence-based models and identifying opportunities from collected data to inform RIZE's responsiveness to community needs.
- Contribute to new project development, including grant guidelines and background research.
- Assist in managing a portfolio of research grants.
Learning (Organizational & Grantee Capacity Building)
- Guide RIZE's engagement with grantees on evaluation principles and skills.
- Help grantees develop individualized evaluation frameworks using RIZE templates and ensure effective data collection and analysis.
- Co-lead learning check-ins with grantees, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative findings to identify themes, barriers, and needs.
- Participate in coalitions and community events to engage stakeholders in evaluation insights.
Reporting on Progress and Impact
- Create presentations, graphs, and dashboards to report data findings and lessons learned.
- Maintain reporting tools for metrics and program support activities related to RIZE and the Mosaic Opioid Recovery Partnership.
- Prepare grant reports aligned with funder requirements and deadlines, as well as policy briefs and conference materials.
- Collaborate on narratives and metrics for external documents and strategic planning.

  • Experience in project management.
  • Master's degree with a major in public health, health administration, health management or public administration, social work and minimum two years of experience OR a bachelor's degree and minimum five years of experience
  • Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail; able to transition quickly between projects and manage expectations and timelines to achieve results.
  • Strong ability to connect and collaborate with community-based organizations throughout Massachusetts. Familiarity with organizations that address opioid use disorder, addiction, and recovery is a plus.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong sense of priorities, flexibility, sound judgment, and teamwork.
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Comfortable working within a small team in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment that is highly collegial.
  • Adaptable; able to listen to new ideas, encourage open dialogue, share opinions, and adjust strategies based on new evidence.
  • Willingness to take on various tasks as needed in a small, organization.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Constant Contact, Canva, and Asana.
