Job Overview

As a Utility Operator, you'll play a key role in our production process by setting up, operating, and adjusting a variety of machines and equipment to ensure high-quality output. Equipment may include (but is not limited to): thread cutters, thread rollers, drill presses, pedestal grinders, disc grinders, conveyors, staplers, boxers, and other departmental machinery.

A Day In The Life

You'll perform a range of hands-on tasks such as:



  • Machining & Finishing: Deburring, grinding, drilling, tapping, chamfering, thread cutting, and thread rolling.
  • Inspection & Quality Control: Inspecting parts visually and with gauges, performing SPC (Statistical Process Control), and ensuring products meet specifications.
  • Assembly & Packaging: Painting, boxing, stapling, and preparing parts for shipment.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Recording production data, scrap counts, and maintaining accurate production records.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Proficiency in using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and precision.



Ability to:



  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routing sheets, and technical drawings.
  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Walk, hear, see, and use both hands effectively.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist and vice versa.
  • Lift up to 90 lbs from knee level to machine height and back.
  • Perform tasks that may occasionally exceed these physical demands.
