We are seeking a seasoned and strategicSenior Supply Chain Managerto lead planning and logistics operations at our site. This role is a key member of the site leadership team and serves as the central coordinator for all supply chain activities-ensuring alignment across planning, scheduling, logistics, and performance management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong operational mindset, a collaborative leadership style, and a passion for driving continuous improvement across the supply chain function.
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing SCM team through coaching, goal setting, and talent development
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Champion GKN Aerospace's "Great Place to Work" values across all logistics and planning functions
Planning & Scheduling Excellence
- Own and optimize site-level planning processes including SIOP, MPS, and shop floor scheduling
- Facilitate monthly Operations Supply Reviews and Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Align daily execution with program, operations, and procurement teams for seamless flow
Logistics & Inventory Management
- Lead all logistics operations: freight, warehousing, inbound/outbound flows, and internal movements
- Drive inventory strategy and performance (DIO), ensuring efficient stock levels and movement
- Manage distribution planning and constraints to support outbound logistics
Performance & Process Optimization
- Monitor and analyze SCM metrics (Delivery, MSA, Logistics Costs, DIO, etc.)
- Reduce total SCM costs through process improvements and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GKN standards across people, processes, and tools
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain leadership, ideally in aerospace or advanced manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field; APICS CPIM or equivalent preferred
- Deep expertise in SIOP, MPS, MRP, scheduling, inventory management, and ERP systems
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Proven track record of driving performance, reducing costs, and leading change
- US Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements.
