International Accounting Manager

ATI is seeking to hire a US-based International Accounting Manager to support our Specialty Rolled Products business unit. This role will report to our Natrona Heights, PA office location five-days per week.

This individual will be a hands-on business leader managing the financial processes for overseas legal entities in France, the UK, Germany, Spain, and Italy. This will include both sales offices and product distribution.

The position will be responsible for leading a small finance team in Europe in order to manage the accounting functions, including monthly close and forecasting, and all statutory/local requirements for these legal entities. Strong interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with cross-functional teams and employees at all levels of the organization. This role will ensure complete and accurate financial reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Financial responsibility for ATI's European locations including France, Germany, and the UK, Spain and Italy
• Responsibility for all statutory accounting processes for the European entities including, journal entries, reconciliations, month/year-end closing, trial balance, and tax/VAT returns.
• Manage and actively participate in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings and analysis and forecasts
  
  
  
  • Trial Balance review and flux analysis
  • Payroll coordination and expense report coordination
  • Sarbanes Oxley financial certifications
  • Reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closing process
  
  
  
  
• Lead the organization through both external and internal audit requirements
• Help manage and lead the transition of the France general ledger from Sage to Oracle and evaluate existing financial processes for improvements.
• Assist in the transition of the France distribution business to direct-US based business.
• Assist in US-based SRP business monthly financial processes as needed.

• 5 years of accounting experience in financial close processes and forecasting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with managing others and ability to manage many competing tasks and drive them towards completion
• Experience in international statutory accounting requirements, particularly in France, Germany and UK
• Experience in a multi-national, multi-currency organization
• Bi-lingual business experience in French
