We are Certified "Great Place to Work" Description: The Building Performance Analyst actively supports sustainability consulting and high-performance design and operations analysis for both internal teams and external clients. This role assists engineering staff with technical tasks on projects ranging from low to moderate complexity, while learning discipline-specific standards and procedures. The Analyst helps produce project deliverables, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and in line with industry standards. Essential Functions: 
  
 Begins to create energy models using industry-standard software to assess code compliance and high-performance designReviews and analyzes project documentation related to energy systems, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and specificationsAssists with calculations to document various MEP-related credits in the LEED rating systemsManages assigned project tasks or individual project scopes by tracking budget and schedule, taking ownership of allocated hours, and proactively notifying the Project Manager of any anticipated issues or risks of exceeding budget or schedule.Learns to interpret and effectively communicate high-performance, sustainable design requirements, goals and concepts to project teams through coordination meetings and technical reports.Maintains a positive relationship with internal and external clients through proactive, quality communication and work productParticipates in existing building assessments such as Energy Star, energy audits, and other energy performance evaluations.Regularly reviews updates and revisions to energy and sustainability-related codes and policies.Assists in the development of technical documentation and presentations for clients.Continuously looks for ways to improve the speed and efficiency of task completion and proactively shares best practices with the team.Continuously expands knowledge of building science and MEP system design & control, as well as the software, tools, codes, and rating systems that support our service linesProactively seeks and participates in internal and external training and educational opportunities to expand knowledge in relevant technical areas
