In this role, you will coordinate and delivers/facilitates Craft Field Technical Training and supplements delivery of Field Leadership Training and provides facilitation of Jobsite Safety Training that support strategic goals by enhancing Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's) of the field PCE, Craft, Construction Operations, and Support personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

    Takes a leadership role in the delivery of craft training in the field (on the jobsite) by facilitating specific objectives using analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps in coordination with field supervisory leadership, with support for facilitation of Field Leadership training programs and events.
  • Manages and executes the delivery of craft training materials including text, handouts, hands on exercises, development of training aids, and training material evaluations utilizing NCCER generated and/or customized training curriculum.
  • Monitors results of craft training participants (metrics and analytics) and collect feedback on training facilitators/materials to determine effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Supports field leadership training on an "as-needed" basis.
  • Determines appropriate instructional training methods utilized (both traditional classroom and hands-on skills-based) to include individual and group instruction, lectures (in-house or vendor-delivered), hands-on demonstrations, and jobsite skills assessments and performance verifications - both for Craft team members primarily and Field Leadership team members as needed.
  • Confer with management to deliver critical craft and safety training offerings, both classroom and hands-on performance, based on business unit strategic goals or individual development, and collaborates the coordination of training on the jobsite.
  • Leverage technology available to maximize craft and safety training delivery in the field/on the jobsite.
  • Administer testing and evaluation procedures (assessments and performance verifications) to evaluate the program/course objective attainment.
  • Coordinates specific craft training programs (to include NCCER Knowledge and Performance Verifications), and assist with employee job skills development and enhancement.
  • Provide facilitation of required safety training with field and administrative Construction Operations and Support personnel.

Education/Experience:

  • Established 8+ years related work experience in the workforce training and development field.
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, innovation, project management, problem-solving, and influencing skills

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong customer/employee service orientation
  • Uses initiative and attention to detail
  • Highly organized and ability to track multiple tasks
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experienced with web-based technologies preferably with eLearning design and knowledge of Learning Management Systems
  • Advanced knowledge of eLearning Design software to include Adobe Captivate, Premiere Pro, Camtasia, and Articulate 360

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
