PURPOSE:

We are seeking an adaptable and resilient leader to step into the role of Process Branch Manager for our newly acquired Farmer's Branch, TX location. Reporting to the Site General Manager, this position is responsible for all aspects of process engineering, ensuring first-pass yield and first-time-right execution while minimizing rework. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency by simplifying and harmonizing process flows, rejecting unnecessary complexity, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives quarter over quarter.

This leader will collaborate closely with the equipment team to implement FDC, predictive maintenance strategies, and out-of-control action plans to optimize process reliability. Additional responsibilities include improving tool runrate (UPH), owning all process modifications through a structured review board, and managing training and development programs via the LMS. The role will also partner with R&D to establish and scale new process capabilities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Process Leadership

* Lead and develop a team of process engineers and technicians to support manufacturing operations.

* Ensure first-pass yield and first-time-right execution, minimizing rework and optimizing efficiency.

* Drive CIP initiatives to deliver measurable factory performance improvements each quarter.

* Simplify and harmonize process flows to maximize throughput and reduce complexity.


Engineering Excellence

* Oversee SPC implementation, ensuring tools and processes remain in control.

* Partner with the equipment team to implement FDC, predictive maintenance, and out-of-control action plans.

* Improve runrate (UPH) of tools and drive necessary process changes.

* Own all process modifications through a structured review board.

* Collaborate with R&D in a matrix structure to establish new capabilities.


Team Development

* Develop and manage the LMS for the process engineering team, ensuring structured training programs.

* Mentor and grow high-performing teams, aligning capabilities with site and company goals.

* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • BS or MBA preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in process engineering within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering with 4+ years of leading process engineering teams.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Expertise in SPC, DMAIC problem-solving, MBPS, and CIP fundamental.
  • Ability to analyze and implement long-term solutions to improve process reliability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and level.
  • Proactive mindset, consistently seeking innovative solutions to enhance performance.
