The Role:

The Senior Supply Chain Network Planner leads supply chain strategy and execution for the Fluid Handling business unit, serving as the key liaison between the Business Unit and operations. This role drives inventory optimization across all material types, manages capacity planning, and ensures alignment with S&OP processes. As a subject matter expert in SAP and IBP, the planner oversees supply-demand balancing, inventory health, and On-Time Shipment performance, while mentoring new team members and supporting leadership as needed.

In this role you will:

  • Be the single point of contact for the Business Unit regarding End to End Supply Chain / Strategy

  • Establisha global stocking/planning strategy to optimize inventory acrossa variety of SKU's, including:Make-to-Stock (MTS), Assemble-To-Order (ATO), and Buy-to-Order (BTO); ensure that the required service level is maintained given operational constraints.

  • Collaborate with MRP controllers to ensure MRP Settings are consistent with stocking/planning strategy

  • Manage divisional rough cut capacity planning by collaborating with Production Planning & Operations, driving mitigation of supply constraints, and implementing supply constraints into the Consensus Constrained Demand Plan (CCDP) as part of monthly Sales and Operations Process (S&OP)

  • Collaborate with BU stakeholders to manageglobal supply vs. demand and allocation decisionsrelated to finished goods that are forecasted and distributed for sale as a part of Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP) and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE)

  • Oversee & optimizeinventory levels globally; establishinputs for safety stock algorithm in order to set safety stock levels; ensuredays-on-hand (DOH) and overall inventory are optimized and that goals are met; actively mitigate risk of excess/obsolete and MRB inventory.

  • OwnOn-Time Shipment (OTS) performance and coordinateimprovement initiatives across functions globally.

  • Act as the subject matter expert for theSAP process and execution of all end-to-end supply chain functions, to include: Forecasting & Demand Planning process in IBP; Purchasing, Production Planning & Scheduling, and Distribution Planning processes in ECC 6.0

  • Point of contact for training of all new Co-Ops, ELDPs, or new hires into a SNP role

  • Proving SNP subject matter expertise to Supply Chain Leader

  • Serving as the delegate for your manager when your manager is out of office

  • Supervise the daily activities of current Co-Op's

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in Operations or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.

  • APICS certification (CPIM or CIRM) strongly preferred

  • 8+ years of inventory planning & control, production planning, and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment distribution planning model

  • Experience working in a complex,cross-functional and matrixed environment

  • Knowledge and hands on experience in MRP and/or ERP SAP systems, specifically related to inventory control, materials requirements planning, distribution planning, item master settings, demand planning, and production planning (including capacity planning)

  • Experience with S&OPprocess execution

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze supply vs demand data and capacity and inventory data; ability to turn data into information, conclusions & targeted action

  • Effective problem solving / critical thinking skills to drive solutions related to complex supply chain models, problems and characteristics

  • Ability to build influence, roll out best practices, and challenge decisions as needed in a way that will benefit the organization and mitigate risk

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in all levels of the organization

  • Excellent decision-making ability with the confidence to implement those decisions;

  • Proven record of success in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

  • Compensation: $111,000-$139,000 year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
