About the Role
Impact you will make
As an ARO Data Analyst, you will serve as the go-to expert on ARO data, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and reliability across projects. You will work at the intersection of product, data, and client teams, transforming raw information into insights that drive resolution of account issues, improve revenue cycle performance, and enhance client outcomes.
What you will do
- Partner with product and data teams to deliver accurate, actionable insights for ARO projects
- Serve as a subject matter expert in ARO data, providing guidance and context on missing or incorrect data
- Run and distribute monthly reports required for ARO performance and project tracking
- Analyze data to identify gaps and work toward solutions with internal teams
- Act as the internal point of contact for ARO data-related issues, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution
- Manage support tickets through Salesforce, tracking and resolving issues efficiently
- Provide product support and maintenance for revenue cycle tools
- Monitor customer data using sFTP, SaaS platforms, and other data management tools
- Maintain configured business logic and data through graphical user interfaces (GUIs)
- Support internal teams with data inquiries and ad-hoc AR reporting requests
What you will bring
- Strong skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Proficiency in SQL for writing and troubleshooting queries
- Advanced Excel knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of denial management and AR follow-up processes
- Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations, including billing, AR management, underpayment reviews, and insurance eligibility
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain data to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing support tickets in Salesforce
- Technical familiarity with revenue cycle products from prior product or business roles
- Confidence in client-facing interactions, demonstrating subject-matter expertise
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically and creatively
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in fast-changing environments while maintaining quality output
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working across teams in a matrixed organization
What we would like to see
