Purpose of Position
The AmeriCorps member in this position will be supporting two high-impact practices housed within the Student Success Center at Bellarmine University. This position will work directly with the Academic Enrichment team to support Learning Communities and Pioneer Scholars, our first-generation student support initiative. This position will assist in the planning and facilitation of various types of enrichment programming, help enhance communication and marketing efforts, work with student leaders to increase engagement, and support other administrative functions of the office.
The AmeriCorps member will be considered a part of our professional staff and will therefore be able to attend all staff functions, meetings, and other opportunities. The member will participate in regular meetings, both internal to our office as well as campus-wide initiatives. They will regularly communicate with campus partners and have many opportunities for collaboration. The member will also receive extensive training on first-generation student support, Learning Communities, student success, and high-impact practices.

Minimum Education Associate Degree
