The Relationship Manager will develop and maintain relationships with mid-level leaders within the assigned territory. Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Client Manager with account plans and opportunity strategies; execute assigned portions independently
- Strengthen and expand client relationships through regular engagement, discovery calls, and sales presentations
- Respond to client requests or escalate to the Client Manager as needed
- Contribute to RFP responses and participate in business review presentations
- Map organizational structures, identify key stakeholders, and leverage strategic alliances
- Identify and pursue mid- to senior-level growth opportunities in collaboration with the Client Manager
- Engage internal Curinos teams and Buying Centers to promote solutions and grow client wallet share
- Assist with escalations and risk management related to assigned accounts
- Manage complex, multi-product pipelines with disciplined CRM usage and accurate forecasting
- Drive structured execution of client initiatives and internal deliverables with minimal supervision
- Balance multiple client and internal priorities effectively, maintaining clear documentation and communication
- Use data insights to inform decisions and demonstrate client value
- Lead early renewal and upsell discussions, aligning client needs with growth opportunities
- Navigate stakeholder dynamics, including procurement, to accelerate sales cycles
- Conduct research to identify and validate stakeholders, uncover relationship gaps, and inform engagement plans
- Lead strategic contract renewals, pricing, and negotiations alongside the Client Manager
- Partner proactively with the Client Manager on client outreach, sales strategy, and executive meetings
- Communicate clearly and confidently across all levels, including executive presentations
- Influence internal and client teams without direct authority
- Collaborate effectively across departments and maintain a professional yet personable demeanor
- Embrace feedback, show emotional intelligence, and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Pursue continuous learning and mentor junior Relationship Managers'
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of client-facing sales or account management experience in financial services
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- Proven ability to build and deepen client relationships with a focus on client experience and value
- Strong problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Skilled in CRM management, forecasting, and coaching junior team members
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Experience leading renewal and upsell discussions with mid-to senior-level stakeholders
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders
- Growth mindset with a commitment to personal and team development
A compensation package for this role will include a competitiveBase Salary of $100,000 annuallypaired with a lucrative commission structure that is designed to reward exceptional performance. The Total expected compensation range is $150,000+.
