Associate Director of Enterprise Platforms - Technology, Enterprise Infrastructure Department OverviewThe Enterprise Infrastructure team within UVA Information Technology Services (ITS) provides the foundational server, storage, and private cloud platforms that power the University's academic, research, and administrative systems. Our team delivers secure, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions that support UVA's mission of teaching, research, and public service. Position SummaryThe University of Virginia seeks an Associate Director of Enterprise Platforms to lead the strategic direction, partner development efforts, and ongoing management of its private cloud, server, and storage infrastructure. This leadership role is critical to ensuring a high-performance, secure, and scalable on-premises private cloud environment, as well as the server OS and enterprise storage platforms that support UVA's broader hybrid cloud footprint. The Associate Director will oversee diverse teams of managers, engineers, and developers, advancing our ability to automate and optimize the deployment and maintenance of essential infrastructure systems in a complex higher education environment. This role is primarily sedentary, involving extensive use of desktop computers. The position may require occasional travel to UVA locations or vendor sites. Salary Range$155,000 - $165,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Position Type & Work Location
