About the role:

CLA is seeking to hire an HR Director, Growth in Minneapolis, MN for our Talent Solutions team. This role is a key member of the Talent Solutions HR Consulting and Outsourcing team, driving internal business development initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of project-based HR solutions for clients.

As an HR Director you will be responsible for:

  • CLA Client Growth:

    • Develop and execute strategies to grow the HR Consulting and Outsourcing business through expanding existing CLA client relationships.

    • Collaborate with the Director of HR Growth to establish business objectives, revenue targets, and growth plans.

    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities by fostering relationships with CLA Client Relationship Leaders (CRLs) and existing clients.

    • Lead proposal development, SOW initiation, and pricing strategies. Oversee the relationship and ensure a smooth hand-off to the client engagement team.

    • Collaborate with CRLs to support industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility and drive business growth.

  • Client Engagement:

    • Deliver HR project-based work, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client objectives.

    • Be a collaborative partner with CRLs and the HR Directors responsible for client engagements and support the onboarding of new clients.

    • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements in the delivery of HR services.

    • Monitor project progress, budgets, and client satisfaction metrics, addressing any challenges proactively.

  • Operational and Financial Management:

    • Monitor project budgets and realization, ensuring that financial goals are met.

    • Own the billing process for your portfolio of client work and collaborate with CRLs to ensure that project work billings are accurate and up to date and compliant with client contracts and CLA policies and procedures.

    • Prepare and present regular reports on opportunity pipeline, project statuses, and financial performance to Director of HR Growth.

  • Quality and Risk management:

    • Understand firm policies and controls around independence and implement procedures to protect the firm and our clients.

    • Identify sensitive issues and consult with firmwide service specialists as needed.

What you will need:

  • 10 years of relevant experience is required

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree. Degrees in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field preferred. Master's degree or MBA preferred

  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP required or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies for clients.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Demonstrated experience client relationship management.

    Experience with HRIS platforms, implementations, or upgrades.

  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office products.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. These same factors may cause starting pay to be below or above the posted range. The range for this position is $120,514.00 -180,771.00 USD Annual.
