SALARY RANGE: $89,668 - $112,085

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the program/project data is accurately entered and reported on, including maintaining a consistent structure across all programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key functions and duties of the Data Analyst include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Manages and maintains projects in ERP system (IFS)
    • Entry of approved budgets and budget adjustments
    • Maintenance of the WBS/SWBS coding
    • Entry and maintenance of Activity Order (AO) coding in IFS
  • Develops and maintains project and program reporting, using IFS, Tableau, Excel
    • Planned vs. Actual
    • EVMS reports
  • Works with Scheduling and Planning to ensure data (labor hours and M&S budget) is balanced across platforms
  • Maintain production metrics - KPI's by workcenter/workstation
  • Review data and highlight issues, or trends, found, including:
    • Data integrity (accurate charging of labor hours or M&S dollars)
    • Balancing issues
    • Assist in root cause analysis, based on issues and trends
  • Develop, document, and maintain processes and procedures relevant to data analysis


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
The Data Analyst position may oversee additional staff depending on the size/complexity of the program being managed:1-3 people

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret budgetary information, spreadsheets, and any other relevant requirements
  • Ability to train and mentor team members
  • Effectiveoral and written communication skills
  • Useof relevant software packages (ERP, data analysis, and Office products)


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree/High School Diploma plus relevant experience required.
  • Familiarity with typical industry software systems and processes


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: None required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires that the successful candidate work onsite 5 days per week. The person may be required to be in production areas at times. There may be local travel up to 10% of the time and out-of-town travel (including air travel) up to 5% of the time with notice.

CITIZENSHIP:Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.
