Summary : As a member of the Travis Credit Union (TCU) Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) team, the TAS will build strong relationships with business partners and hiring managers to support a spectrum of Credit Union hiring needs. The TAS will be responsible for developing
multiple sourcing channels to attract the best active and passive candidates, while leveraging technology and social media platforms to ensure an effective and efficient process that produces results. This team is critical to TUC's success in building high performing, highly engaged employees.
Profile:
  • Responsible for Talent Acquisition programs; from needs assessment to sourcing, candidate engagement, negotiations, closing offers and onboarding of new employee - inclusive of new hire engagement surveys.
  • Develops and implements recruitment strategies in partnership with leadership focused on credit union business objectives.
  • Owns the delivery of program scorecards, metrics and analytics to management, inclusive of program enhancement recommendations.
  • Responsible for hiring requisitions and serves as a point of contact and engagement between candidates, hiring managers and Human Resources throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develops tailored recruitment strategies that address the specific needs of each requisition and business need, utilizing creative sourcing techniques to find and attract top talent.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and provides counsel on market trends, interviewing skills, cultural fit, hiring decisions, offer negotiations and compliance with TCU policies and procedures.
  • Leverages Talent Acquisition technology (ies), job/career fairs (all delivery channels), employee referrals, and/or social media to source qualified candidates (active/passive) and cultivate long-term relationships to build a TCU talent pipeline.
  • Builds TCU brand awareness via mixed community and professional development events.
  • Stays current with trends, looking for innovative and creative recruitment practices to further TCU Talent Acquisition objectives.
  • Responsible for successful cross-functional Human Resources and Talent Acquisition project management.
  • Develops and manages relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms, ensuring compliance with related laws, regulations and procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of recruiting laws, regulations, trends, industry/labor market changes and best practices, ensuring competitive edge for top talent.
  • Responsible for department efficiency improvements.
Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of HR policies, practices, recordkeeping, and legal requirements specific to recruitment, to include, but not limited to EEO, Affirmative Action, Vets-4212 reporting, pre-employment screening, ADA, etc.
  • Proven success with recruitment processes and pipeline development.
  • Market segmentation experience for developing candidate pipelines and pools.
  • Experience with developing activity scorecards and surveys.
  • Technical recruitment experience.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and social media recruiting platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills; able to design communications to meet audience needs.
  • Ability to work well with the public and all levels of management and staff.
  • Strong analytical skills, highly organized and excellent attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Requirements:

  • Reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Lead
  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
  • BA/BS in Business, Human Resources Management or related field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Compensation:
Grade 14 Non-Exempt - $35.41 - 43.74/hour
