Vice President, Product Operations, Travel Experience & Commerce

Full time, United States

The Vice President of Product Operations serves as the connective tissue of BCD's global Travel Experience & Commerce product organization-driving alignment, operational excellence, and executional discipline across teams. This role is responsible for optimizing product management processes, enabling go-to-market success, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-impact initiatives across the Travel Commerce portfolio.

This leader will establish and uphold core product principles and governance frameworks that ensure consistency, accountability, and outcome-driven execution across all product teams. By centralizing operational support, performance metrics, and stakeholder engagement, this role enables product leaders to focus on innovation and delivery while ensuring the organization operates with clarity and cohesion.

A critical focus of this role is to embed data-driven prioritization into the product operating model-ensuring that decisions are guided by measurable impact, business value, and organizational goals. This includes working in close alignment with the PPD PMO to define and maintain a consistent prioritization framework across initiatives. The team will also leverage business data and performance insights to drive go-to-market enablement, adoption strategies, usage models, and reporting, ensuring that product investments translate into measurable outcomes and sustained value for the organization.

As a Vice President, Product Operations, Travel Experience & Commerce, you will

  • Define and lead the operational strategy that supports scalable, high-performing product management across the organization
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks that ensure transparency, prioritization discipline, and consistent execution across product portfolios
  • Streamline and standardize product development processes, documentation, and rituals across teams
  • Define and track KPIs that measure product team effectiveness, initiative progress, and business impact
  • Lead centralized enablement and change management efforts for major product initiatives
  • Oversee dedicated Travel Experience & Commerce project and program management for high impact and complex product initiatives
  • Act as a central point of coordination across TEC product & engineering, commercial, and operations teams

About you

  • Understanding of the corporate travel environment, including digital experience, traveler expectations, content distribution, agent service models and industry trends
  • Experience supporting product teams in a B2B or enterprise SaaS environment, ideally with exposure to both contact center platforms and traveler-facing technologies (e.g., mobile apps, booking tools, self-service portals)
  • Strong understanding of product management principles, lifecycle frameworks (e.g., dual-track agile, OKRs), and governance models that ensure consistency, accountability, and outcome-driven execution across diverse product types
  • Proficiency in using data to evaluate content performance, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to define and track KPIs such as content coverage, conversion rates, and booking share
  • Expertise in leading change management, enablement, and adoption strategies across large organizations
  • Ability to translate complex initiatives into clear, actionable plans for internal stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across product, engineering, commercial, and operations teams
