Description
Job Description: Ensure the housekeeping department staff are cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public spaces in accordance with the Marriott Standards and guest expectation of product and service. Reports to: Executive Housekeeper and/or designee Essential Job Functions:
Required Skills and Abilities: Must have ability to communicate in English. Being able to also converse in Spanish (preferred). Self starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment. Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces. Ability to move throughout the building, bend, stoop, and reach to assist other staff members. Able to utilize computer software and Microsoft Office functions. Experience
1 - 3 years: Experience working in hospitality in the housekeeping department. Preferred as inspector or supervisory position (required)
