Job Description

Position Description:


Ameritas is seeking a Bilingual Hybrid Sales Consultant who is an experienced and driven professional to join our team. This position represents a combined effort of both internal and external wholesaling functions to increase sales and support our financial professionals through relationship management, sales strategy execution, and product education.


You will work collaboratively as part of a tiered support team to drive production, improve persistency, and ensure exceptional field experience.

Position Location:



  • This role could be hybrid or remote based on proximity to an office location.




What you do:


Sales & Relationship Management



  • Build and maintain sales relationships with assigned partners and financial professionals to achieve regional sales and persistency goals.
  • Partner with the RVP and EW to prospect, recruit, and grow agency relationships.
  • Proactively contact key office personnel in assigned agencies to offer assistance, sales ideas and ongoing training on our products, illustration software, etc.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual sales presentations (in English and Spanish) to producers and agency teams.
  • Serve as a concierge-level support liaison, providing timely responses and proactive sales assistance.



Sales Strategy & Execution



  • Collaborate on the development and execution of annual business plans for the region.
  • Implement profitable, persistent sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Develop and monitor individual sales goals and track progress using CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Provide case design consultation.
  • Provide on-going sales development by communicating messages, ideas, and concepts to the field via multiple technological sources.
  • Assist agents / field offices with product selection and any marketing related questions.


Training & Product Expertise



  • Provide product education, illustration system support, and case design consultation.
  • Conduct ongoing training for field associates and agency staff on Ameritas products, sales concepts, and technology tools.
  • Serve as a conduit between field associates and home office teams for escalated issues across departments such as licensing, commissions, and new business.



Operational Support & Reporting



  • Log communications, sales activities, and case details in Salesforce to ensure transparency and performance tracking.
  • Monitor submitted, pending, and issued cases; proactively respond to performance variances.
  • Maintain ownership of field inquiries to ensure timely resolution and follow-through.



What you bring:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-7 years of life and or annuity insurance experience preferred; 2 years of field experience required.
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of the life insurance industry, life and annuity products and/or broker dealer knowledge.
  • Must obtain life and health license within 6 months.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are required.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral communication and business writing skills.
  • Requires a demonstrated record of initiative, leadership, problem-solving and adaptability.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), illustration software and the Internet.



Travel Requirements:



  • 25%-50% For client meetings, sales presentations, team meetings, and industry events.

About this Position's Pay
This is a sales position. The posted range reflects the base pay and variable compensation. The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on base pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our variable compensation program with a target defined by the applicable program.
