Animal Control Officer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Enforcing local and state animal control laws and ordinances.
  
• Responding to complaints regarding animals, investigating animal cruelty or neglect cases, capturing and impounding stray or dangerous animals, and educating the public on responsible pet ownership and safety.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Animal Control Officer with 3+ years' experience.
• This position is ideal for those with a passion for animal welfare and public service who are available to respond to animal-related calls during non-regular business hours.
• Humane Officer experience required.
• Humane enforcement, or a related field, and are looking to supplement their income with flexible, as-needed work.
